Hello everyone!
Patience is a virtue, so for those who’ve waited on our website launch, you are indeed virtuous! I have had to navigate all about a month early! Keira went into season in November vs the expected mid-December, so our timeframe to build and launch the website had to speed up exponentially! Many thanks to my wonderful daughter, the brilliant and talented Elizabeth Laughlin for her time and expertise to build the site in record time, all while working full time, caring for her young children, husband and lovely Labrador retriever, Princess Nala (from the wonderful Overlook Labradors and breeder Mark Rothe). As expected, since everything else was early, I had predicted Keira giving birth on Sunday February 4, 2024 vs. her due date of February 7th. As usual, Keira didn’t disappoint, she whelped 9 puppies in a little over 4 hours, six girls and three boys on 2/4/24. I have more to share about our journey those two days, but that will come later. Thanks to all for joining us at the beginning of this amazing journey.
