Bred by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines, Keira was a Specialty, multiple Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty, multiple Best of Breed and multiple Group Placement winner in the conformation ring. She was my first Gordon setter, my foundation and the reason for my love of this breed! She was wonderful in the home, with a sweet, calm temperament and adored her people and fellow pack members. She performed beautifully in the field, earning her Junior Hunt title and 3 additional qualifying runs. She was biddable and workmanlike in the field. I was always awestruck watching her work! She had her CHIC number from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). We were planning to compete for her Senior Hunt title in 2025 but sadly we lost Keira on December 20, 2024. We are so fortunate to have had her only litter, our Adirondack litter, in February of 2024 to carry on her extraordinary legacy.

We kept the pick girl of that litter, Kady, CH Ravenrose Eclipse Over Skylight and co-own our other pick girls, Georgia, Ravenrose Georgia Rae Atop Mt. Marcy and Ceilidh-Ravenrose Party on the Cascade, who are also showing great promise in the ring. All puppies from our Adirondack litter are healthy, happy and dearly loved by their families.
